Wow, you're right. Can't wait to see how Sam explains the resolution.

I'd love to see elemental attack bonuses get nerfed in the next tournament, so that instead of increasing both the attack score and damage-per-attack, they just give a straight attack bonus and resolve damage normally as [attack minus defense]. Likewise elemental defense bonuses should merely provide a higher defense and not damage resistance as well. Elemental bonuses of both types should probably be a wee bit cheaper as a result, too.
