Murkon's Refuge Question... posted by drhawkins on Friday, May 16, 2003, at 09:11:14:
> Hi, have a few questions that are concerning me. First, here's my party: > Lvl 24 Knight > Lvl 20 Assassin > Lvl 23 Knight > Lvl 31 Rogue > Lvl 23 Sorcerer > and Lvl 16 Druid (former Wizardess with about 32 total levels built up) > > Now, my sorcerer stopped receiving new spells around level 16-17, I assumed this was intended in the game, so I didn't worry about it, but now he's receiving very few spell point on leveling up. No one else in my party is receiving many hitpoints (between 4-15) every level up. This worries me a little. Should sorcerers stop receiving spells after they receive "Quake?"
Quake is THE most powerful spell, so yes, that's it for spells. Spell point allocation is also quite low, generally not averaging more than 10 per level.
Spellcasters and rogues don't tend to get that many hitpoints per level, but Knights and Assissins will average about 30 per level, once at 30th level or so.
> Another question, I'm in the middle of the 9th Level, and still haven't found the item that will allow me to pass through the blocked hallway on the 10th level. I would appreciate a tip for finding it. > > Last question, how many Levels are in MR? I gather that I'm in the upper intermediate levels, as i've received a few special items (Samurai sword, hood of the sorcerer, things like that). > > Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Level 10 is the end. Once you get to that locked (I presume Silver key) door, do a 180 turn and walk to the dead end in front of you. Be prepared for a very hard fight. I mean a 60k+ worth of experience type of fight.
If you win in there just search around and be prepared to go back several times.
