This might be slightly off-topic, but you mean something like... Wall with no blood, BANG, SPLAT, wall with blood?

If so, that certainly beats Blake Stone. If a wall doesn't have blood on it, it doesn't *get* blood on it. The floor surrounding the victim does, however. Also, what sort of looks like blood drips from the ceiling in spots. Another thing is that whatever dies always has the same death animation. That makes no real-life sense, and neither does the fact that the "dead character" graphic always looks the same regardless of what side of it you're on. Weird.
