Having been spoilt by the Internet to the point of expecting something for nothing, I am now looking for a decent free email service. If anyone who uses RinkMail on a regular basis could tell me what that's got going for it, I'd be much obliged. Meanwhile, in the rare event that you DO want to send me an email, remember that it's changed now.

I'm also - or should I say, I used to be - a subscriber to another.com. In fact, it was the only e-mail service I actually used, because it was free and (originally) had few banner ads.

I need a free e-mail service, as I am almost perpetually skint, and I also need a way to sift through all the tripe and spam that I get delivered. Hence, when I found out that another.com was no longer free, I almost hit the roof.

What's worse is the letter that the CEO sent to all the users of another.com. It asks people to pay the £15 p/a because "who wants boring, grey e-mail?"

Well, I do. I don't care what colour it is, as long as it's free. I have begrudgingly converted to my once spam-only hotmail.com address - but, if anyone else knows of a really good, fast and above-all FREE e-mail service, I'd really like to know.

Ahhhh... I feel a lot better for that.
