I just found out today that my sturdy and reliable email service, another.com, have started charging for their service. Having been spoilt by the Internet to the point of expecting something for nothing, I am now looking for a decent free email service. If anyone who uses RinkMail on a regular basis could tell me what that's got going for it, I'd be much obliged. Meanwhile, in the rare event that you DO want to send me an email, remember that it's changed now.
I've been watching the Winter Olympics whenever I can recently, and I've really been impressed by the friendly nature the different countries are showing to one another, skating corruption notwithstanding. The crowds seem to be cheering everyone really loudly, regardless of nationality, and it seems nice that everyone is so welcoming. On a different note, I was watching the womens' aerials just now. How on earth do they do that without killing themselves? Soft though the landing snow may be, it would only take an awkward landing or a loss of control to badly injure or even kill a competitor. It seems about as "safe" as the bobskeleton, incidentally the one event now where the UK appears to have any chance of a medal. That's life, I'm afraid.
