Okay, I found a plastic knife and cut my
sandwich like you said. It was really fun to cut
it and the final result was definitely a work of
art. It looked so nice I didn't want to eat it right
away, so I opened my yogurt and ate some of
that first, along with a bite of apple and a few
Cheez-Its. Then I finally started in on the
beautiful K-cut ham 'n cheese sandwich.

I started with the most crusty part first, that
being the outside piece of the left side (the
side that gets a single, upper-right to lower-left
diagonal cut). I noticed no difference in taste
from my usual, uncut sandwiches, but it was
more fun to eat this way. After I finished that
piece, I ate the upper and lower diagonal
pieces created by the K-cut on the right side of
the sandwich. Then I ate the middle diagonal,
and finally the piece with "the most non-crust
pointiness" which I had saved for last per your
suggestion.

As I said, the sandwich was more fun to eat,
and when I got to the last piece, I did notice a
sudden burst of intensity in the flavor of the
cheese, so maybe there is something to the
theory that diagonal slices taste better. I think
that further experimentation is in order.
