Well, I don't do the clock face thing, but I definitely made the numbers ( 1-10) into characters. I had a whole soap opera thing going on there: Beautiful but weak 7 was in love with dashing but dastardly 9. Only her homely but good sister 8 was able to keep them apart. 9 was insanely jealous of our stalwart hero, 10, and planned his demise but was always just a little short of acomplishing it. 6 was in love with 7, but she ignored him...and so forth.
