Anyway, I wasn't sure what to do when I remembered the sign said we could audition with poems, stories, plays, improv something, etc. So, I decided to improv based on a book I've been reading (The Mysts of Avalon, a retelling of the King Arthur Ledgend). When I got on stage, I actually said that I had something prepared but decided not to do it and instead to improv based on (etc). It must have worked - they had the cast list out today (the morning after auditions) and I didn't realize I was cast until someone told me. I'm glad she did because of the meeting we had.
