LOL! That's a RULING story! In fact, when I first read it, I thought: If I ever write a book some time, I'd like to put that story in there.

But on second thought, if it were to be put in a fictional story, it would look much too constructed, like in a half-bad comedy movie. That's not to say that your life is anything like a half-bad comedy, just that that incident is a sort of thing that some comedy writer would think of for a gag. If it were put in anything else than a comedy, readers would go like: "Yeah, right, like THAT's likely to happen." There are just too many convenient coincidences: You going climbing and damaging your chalk bag, putting it in a plastic bag instead and then finally being stopped in customs...
