I have wanted for a long time to go to Hollywood and beat whoever picks which games to make into movies over the head and scream at them, "TRY USING SOMETHING THAT HAD A PLOT TO START WITH!!" Of course, I was thinking more along the lines of adventure games (sans puzzles for a movie version, of course), but hey.

Of course, perhaps some things are better left as untouched by Hollywood as possible. I can think of several adventure games right off the bat that would translate well into a movie and also a lot that wouldn't. Only games with heavy character interaction would work as movies, I would say. A movie based on Myst would be rather dull. ;)
