I had to play in the orchestra for my high school's graduation; the top orchestra always plays for it. Seeing as there were nearly 1,000 grads this year, it was bad. we played pomp and circumstance for the processional, which takes at least 30 minutes, and then again for the recession. Ugh! It all was so strenuous because I had to practice for other things, too... I've been playing so much lately that I have to take a week off from clarinet playing (a throat problem). and I get to do it all again next year, since I'm only a sophomore.
