Nice to know that the phrase "Taking a slow boat to San Diego" would still have literal as well as richly symbolic meaning.

I guess the (shorter and cheaper) 4-6 week Ground Surface Mail option, for delivering packages by truck-courrier, isn't the first thing that USPS clerks think to offer.
