I saw the family tree, once. Let's see, on his mother's (my grandmother) side, it goes pretty far back. On the paternal side, it goes through a name change, about three generations or so further back, and then stops. Why? It gets lost. We traced the Murrill side of the tree back about 9 generatiions, but the Clay side stopped with my grandfather. It sorta makes me wonder if something is being covered up. It's a pity. I love a good story. Howard
