On the paternal side, it goes through a name change, about three generations or so further back, and then stops. Why? It gets lost. "The quagmire" is now the official family term for the bloodline.

We traced the Murrill side of the tree back about 9 generatiions, but the Clay side stopped with my grandfather. It sorta makes me wonder if something is being covered up. It's a pity. I love a good story.
