Hehe, no offense taken whatsoever. I love nice people who give you bus money when you need it - I've had to borrow dimes from time to time, when I run out of tokens and don't realize it until the bus gets there and I only have dollarbills!!!! AIE!!!!
Anyway, this isn't a random person story at all, just a money on the bus story. Because of my schedule, it's rare that I catch the same bus with the same people twice in the afternoon. But anyway, twice now (at least) on the way home, and once on the way to school, I've taken the bus with an Asian woman. The only word she seems to know is "quarter". The last time I encountered this woman on the way home, I gave her a quarter, as did several other people - I assumed she needed bus fare. She then proceeded to get on the bus and pay with different money, and then go to many of the people on the bus and ask for quarters.
I saw her on the way downtown just a few days after that - didn't give her a quarter that time.
Anyway, I've speculated as to why she does it - probably she just needs money... but I saw her turn down about 50 cents in pennies once, which is TWO quarters.... so I don't know.
