My first car I went in together with my sister to buy. It was a 1983 Oldsmobile Omega. It didn't last very long...it seemed to break down on a regular schedule and ate money like it ate gasoline.

The first car I drove was a 1989 Chevy Astro van. My parents still have that van, although it has a rebuilt engine in it now. Come to think of it, I probably posted about it on this forum before, and someone will probably hunt that post down and point it out to me in short order.

My second car is actually owned by my wife, but I drive it the most. She doesn't like to drive that much. It's a 1987 Honda Accord named Howie. I think I posted about Howie here before too.

I've never really owned a car. My first car was really in my parent's name, and the car I drive now *technically* belongs to my wife. I've also never driven a car that was built in the Nineties or later. Unless you count that Mazda Protegé we rented on our vacation.

This has GOT to change.
