We have just come back from a LLLLOOONNNGGG trip over East and during that time we went without radio for about 2 days... and along the Nullabor there isn't much scenery either (the Nullabor being a dry, almost desert, extremely flat region!!!) It gets very boring looking at the same type of setting all day!

The car that we drove in didn't have a CD player, it only had a tape deck. (but it was really loud!!!!)

Anyway, during that 2 day period of "no radio" we listened to (3) 90 minute tapes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and .... well you get the point. Of course we looked for other tapes at the roadhouses and such that we stopped at along the way, but being in the age of CD's...

Anyway, needless to say without those (3) tapes that we had (that my sister made up for us) of which the songs we now know off by heart, and that marvellous tape deck, we would have expired from boredom.

Thankyou sis
