Wow. I'm a bit suprised to see a community with a conservative lean (however small). (see below).
> Tell us about yourself. Where you're from, your age, what you like, etc. Me, I am Quartz (real name not important right now), and I'm a 15-year-old female. I'm a writer, as are a LOT of other people here. In fact, Sam (the head of this place) is a writer. Tell us anything you want, and don't worry about being embarrassed because we'ver all done that before. Your posts can be serious, absurd, whatever.
Okey, time for a bio, I guess: Personal Dossier on Jannette Born: April, 1985; in Grand Island, NE; 2nd of 6 children Home: Eastern PA (north of Phila.) Occupation: free lance philosopher, scientist wannabe, nerd Political affiliation: None, currently (hey, i am after all 15.. can't vote yet!) I lean towards Republican on most issues. Hobbies: The internet. Reading good books. The internet. Reading bad books. The internet. Writing bad stories. The internet. Travel. Oh... did I mention the internet? Pets: 1 guinea pig (Blind Lemon Wilbur), 1 ferret (Jimmy Dean), 2 cats (who both hate me), more gerbils than I care to count, and about 20 fish (all of which are named Charlie Tuna). Favorite book: "Candide" by Voltaire Musical tastes: I'm often ridiculed by my peers for my fandom of Elton John... ("Hey kids, shake it loose together/The spotlight's hittin something that's been know to change the weather...") Other: Did I mention that I'm female? No? Well i am. (The name is a give-away, right?) I'm 5 foot 9 in bare feet, and I wear a size 9 shoe. I don't have a favorite TV show, because i don't really watch TV (bad for the brain, you know!) and I think robots will be a great boot to soceity once they make robotic butlers. I'm biased about comic strips, since I draw comics myself (they're heavy on humor, low on art...)
That's pretty much me.
One more thing: Yes, i am Jannette from the Rinklympics in Rink Chat. That was the first time I was here... I kept meaning to return to visit, but never got around to it until now. I hope to be back regularly, though.
Do svidaniya, Jannette
