I've seen kettle-style potato chips in many places. Here in Colorado, they are labeled "Colorado Style" or "Cowboy Style" or whatever. I've also seen them labeled as "Old Pennsylvania Style," "Dixie Style," etc. In Memphis, they have "Dirty Potato Chips," which are similar in thickness. They are called "dirty" because they are fried without having the oils scrubbed out of them, or something.
