The whole east coast was getting hit by a monster storm that weekend, and all the news media were calling it "The Storm of the Century." I think Kevin Nealon was doing Weekend Update at the time, and he "interviewed" the "Storm of the Century." It was Chris Farley, dressed all in white with his face painted white, and fake snow swirling all around him. That had me ROTFLOL.

Wow, this thread has given me a lot of reply fodder. Cool.

Another SNL storm interview that I loved was with the same two actors (Kevin Nealon and Chris Farley) but Chris Farley was El Nino. He was dressed up like a big wrestler. My favorite question of the interview:

"El Nino, what exactly does your name mean?"
"It means 'The...
...
...
NINO!'"

OK, that sounded funnier spoken aloud then it looks on screen. Just use your imagination and picture Chris Farley dressed like a wrestler, growling out his lines, sounding all tough, and then struggling for a word with a confused look on his face, then finally coming up with "Nino" as a translation of "Nino". Trust me, it's gold.
