We were there for the smaller storm that hit in December, where they only got about 12 inches total. And that was cool and awesome. I was pretty impressed with how the plows kept up with it, really. It almost never snows like that here, and it NEVER snows here like it's snowing there now. We never get that much snow unless it's accumulation from more than one storm.

I just remembered something hilarious from Saturday Night Live during the early 90's. The whole east coast was getting hit by a monster storm that weekend, and all the news media were calling it "The Storm of the Century." I think Kevin Nealon was doing Weekend Update at the time, and he "interviewed" the "Storm of the Century." It was Chris Farley, dressed all in white with his face painted white, and fake snow swirling all around him. That had me ROTFLOL.
