Uh, unless that was parodied or re-run a few years ago, you've got your dates wrong. That sounds like the "1984" ad that was run in (of course) 1984 by Apple Computers. It was for the introduction of their new comptuer, the Mac. It only ran once, during the Superbowl, and is considered one of if not the greatest commercial of all time. I didn't think it was really that great.

It's actually the commercial that started the whole "Superbowl ads" craze. Before that, Superbowl ads weren't nearly such a big deal.
