I SAW THAT TOO! And I was ROFLOL just like you! SNL did some sort of Election Day special, didn't they, with all the best of of their political satires over the years? That cartoon was part of it.

In my personal opinion, SNL started to sink in the early nineties, after they started losing some of their best talent, like Dana Carvey, Julia Sweeny, Jan Hooks, etc. The kicker was when they dumped the entire old cast except for Tim Meadows and hired on a whole new crew. I watched the "new guys" for the first few months and then stopped watching it.
