> They talked about "it" a lot yesterday and I just heard a mention today. It seems that "it" is a new invention, so simple that those who have seen "it" wonder why somebody hadn't thought of "it" before. Charles Gibson asked one of those people if "it" had a computer chip and he replied that "Everything has a computer chip." They also explained that "it" was going to change everybody's life at least as much as the internet has, and "it" was going to make the inventor richer (or as rich as) Bill Gates, whoever *he* is. There is speculation that "it" is some kind of personal transportation, but I think it is a light weight, cheap, effecient power source that will replace batteries of all sizes and even fuel cells. That will make possible a variety of things like electric cars that really work, cell phones that don't go dead, space satellites that do more and cost less, even better flashlights. It might even improve your laptop. But I could be wrong. It could just be a publicity stunt. Does anybody have any information?

I've been reading about "IT" online for several days now, and I think it's safe to say that if anyone had cracked this story yet, we'd know about it by now. There's just no information to be had right now.

The only bits of intel I've found came from a site I've linked to below, which lists "known facts" such as the following: "In a private meeting with Bezos, Jobs and Doerr, Kamen assembled two Gingers -- or ITs -- in 10 minutes, using a screwdriver and hex wrenches from components that fit into a couple of large duffel bags and some cardboard boxes."

Like you, I still can't quite convince myself that it isn't just a hoax or publicity stunt. If it's a stunt, "IT" had better be dang funny when it's finally revealed.

Of course y'all should stay tuned for the NEXT "next big thing", which is guaranteed to change the world -- by *subjugating* it!! HAHAHAHA!!! Beware the coming of:

"ISS"
