The strategy guide's pretty obvious if you think about it, but there were some important differences between it and the way I play - for instance, I usually avoid gambling unless it's 3-1 or better, but Sam reckons the odds are still in favour of the player over the long run (ie if you win a few, lose a few, you'll end up ahead).
