I haven't seen either, but in the Michael Keaton movie, I believe it's about a father who gets killed somehow and then gets to come back to life as a snowman for a second chance sort of thing with his children. Supposed to be a heartwarming family schmeal.

Actually, there are at least *three* movies entitled "Jack Frost". After all, let's not forget the Russo-Finnish fantasy film which was featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000 a while ago...
