OK, this is an easy one. Let's take a look:

Dogs are friendly. They go out of their way to please people. They play, they try to make themselves useful... Basically, they bend over backwards for humans.

Cats are anti-social. They ignore you. They take what they want, when they want. They get in the way on purpose.

It might seem like this would indicate that dogs are smarter. They make an effort to please those who are likely to provide them with food, shelter, and companionship. However, cats are just as popular as dogs, and get just as much food, just as many toys, and just as nice a place to stay, DESPITE being so anti-social. The conclusion? Cats are smarter than most HUMANS, not to mention dogs...
