>Keep in mind, if the sole reason for this is Leviticus, then you'd have to condemn people who eat pork as much as you condemn homosexuals.

Only if the New Testament hadn't repealed the food laws.

Acts 10:11-16, NLT:

He saw the sky open and something like a large
sheet was let down by its four corners. In the
sheet were all sorts of animals reptiles, and
birds. Then a voice said to him, "Get up,
Peter; kill and eat them."

"Never, Lord," Peter declared. "I have never
in all my life eaten anything forbidden by our
Jewish laws."

The voice spoke again, "If God says something
is acceptable, don't say it isn't."

Romans 14:14:
I know and am perfectly sure on the authority
of the Lord Jesus that no food, in and of
itself, is wrong to eat. But if someone
believes it is wrong, then for that person it
is wrong.

Compare these, which lift the ban on various foods, with these New Testament quotes which certainly do not permit homosexuality.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Don't you know that those who do wrong will
have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't
fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual
sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male
prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy
people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none
of these will have a share in the Kingdom of
God.

1 Timothy 1:8-11
We know these laws are good when they are used
as God intended. But they were not made for
people who do what is right. They are for
people who are disobedient and rebellious, who
are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing
sacred and defile what is holy, who murder
their father or mother or other people. These
laws are for people who are sexually immoral,
for homosexuals and slave traders, for liars
and oath breakers, and for those who do
anything else that contradicts the right
teaching that comes from the glorious Good
News entrusted to me by our blessed God.

I think one of the biggest mistakes people make with the Bible is not believing something is still in effect just because it's in the Old Testament. Everything in the Old Testament, provided it hasn't been challenged in the New Testament, still stands. The Bible stands on this issue, Old and New Testaments alike: homosexuality is not OK.
