Ha! 1 Rod Sterling! I like that.
James Earl Jones was the voice that used to say "This is CNN," but I don't think they use that any more.
That deep male voice at the movies is Arie Guzman,
a black guy from one of those small Carribean Islands. He moved to New York at about age ten and studied to be an actor. Most of his roles have been in commercials and more often than not, they were voice overs. He appeared briefly in two James Bond movies, but never had more than a few lines. At six feet three and 230 pounds, he looks like a villian. In both movies he was wearing a dark suit with a dark shirt and cream-colored tie. I met Arie on a cruise ship and talked to him at length. He never offed to help me get into the movies. I guess that means he knows talent when he sees it. I forget his wife's name, but she weighs about 90 pounds and sings in French. How long did it take you to figure out that I'm making all this up?
