My idea of a "Voice of Doom" who bears the properly stentorian overtones would be... hmmm... James Earl Jones, I guess. You know, the incomparable Jones who played Thulsa Doom (the Snake guy) in Conan, as well as the voice of Darth Vader, and Simba's dad Mufasa in The Lion King.
