If it's not in the states, I said U.S. Atlas because the person who chose the locations tended to focus more on natural scenery than manmade structures, and the World Atlas person was just the opposite.

Akimiski Island is in St. James Bay at the south end of Hudson Bay which is in Canada.

Coiba Island is near the Pacific coast of Panama.

Isle Royale is in Lake Superior. I understand it is a summer resort.

Majorca is in the Western end of the Mediterranean Sea

Islay in on the west side of Scotland.

Hainan is off the east coast of Vietnam.

Leyte is one of the Philippines.

The only one's that I knew about were Isle royale and Leyte, so for me, those were the easy ones.
