Globes here in the United States all seem to be similar in a peculiar way. Not similar as in "Well, duh. It's showing the same planet as all the other globes" -- but similar that every globe shows national borders as well as American state borders the same way.

The effect is they all look like there's about sixty nations on the North American continent rather than (about) ten.
