But blonde jokes have the added benefit of being insulting to women in general (have you ever heard a blonde joke about a blonde *guy*?)

I remember once telling a joke that I thought was funny but was an ethnic joke. I told the people I was telling it to that I was going to change the ethnicity to Portuegese or something like that, because I was pretty sure none of them were Portuegese, and honestly an ethnic joke generally works no matter *what* ethnicity you decide to plug into the punchline--sometimes you can get away with calling them "Moron" jokes, except that I've known a few morons who would get offended by those.

Anyway, one guy says "Make it a Pollock joke. I'm Polish, but I don't care." So I made it a Pollock joke. And the guy got offended.
