Double score. I've heard this one too, in its usual NZ format of "an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman", with the Irishman as the stupid one. Come to think of it, we have a lot of jokes about stupid Englishmen and Scotsmen too.

In a country in which virtually the entire white population is descended from Englishmen, Irishmen and/or Scotsmen, and goes to great lengths to display its pride in the fact, I guess this says something about us. It beats me what, though.
