I know it's a touist trap, but I still have to reccommend Disney World. There's always something new to see there - waterfalls that flow up, cardboard skylines (it loks real until you get right up to it), bands, attractions...
My favorite park has to be the EPCOT Center. The different countries are always fun, and they have a neat mine field in the park that soaks you with water if you step on a mine.

Other locations... I've not been many places, really, but from where I'd like to go and where I have been I'd have to say anywhere near the water. Not the tropics - they're too commercial. Somewhere else that's by the sea - even just the bay area in New York City. I don't know what it is, I just have a thing for water, I guess.

The only other thing that comes to mind is to find a wood and just wander off into it. It's not exactly travel, but, in many ways, it's better. I love losing myself in the woods... I just wander around throgh all the nature and the wilderness and it's very tranquil and wonderful.
