Welcome, Truth! FQ is one of my own favorite RinkWorks features, and in fact Stephen and I are working on FQ designs of our own, which hopefully may someday be added to the Adventure Games Live! page (whenever they're finally finished). Right now I'm done with the plot, characters, locations and sequencing, and I've started some of the creative writing portions, together with a miniscule amount of coding (hey, I'm just getting started). Also a few sketches for artwork to supplement the game. It's pretty exciting, and I hope I can finish reasonably soon so that other enthusiasts like you can play it.

> I read all the postings I could find and some of them were hilarius (exploding rabbits, spitting on foxes). One of the postings mentioned trying the same thing over and over which I haven't done often, so I guess I'll try that before I start begging Sam for hints.

That tip--trying the same thing over and over--is probably the one that helped me the most. There were two Fantasy Quest locations in particular that were incredibly aggravating in that regard, but Sam has already taken enough abuse from us on that score, so I'll shut up about it. :-)

> One more thing to Stephen - I live close to the Pacific, too, so I have the same problem as you - everytime I want to go towards the ocean in the game, I head west.

Put that down to the fact that Sam's in New Hampshire, where the ocean is to the east. That works for me, since I'm stuck in Massachusetts until I can get into a doctoral program somewhere else in this vast country. For the record, in my own AGL game design, I will attempt to rectify this issue by leaving the ocean out of the game entirely. The major body of water is a large lake, and it lies to the north of the map, which should satisfy pretty much everybody except the Canadians. ;-)

Glad to make your acquaintance. Extend an invitation to your siblings, "Justice" and "the American Way", to come check out this board as well! :-p
