Overall, I suppose the summer movie outlook is pretty bleak, but a couple of them caught my eye. And there will be surprises. I like the sound of Chatham, since I am a 70-year-old sea captain myself. OK, I lied about the Captain part and fudged a bit on my age, but I am tired of seeing Carridine play the meanist man in town when I know he has more talent than that.

And 17 Again appeals to me because I have often dreamed of that. My 17th year was one of the best years of my youth, but I was so poor I had to miss a few things. I'd like to do it all again with a few bucks in my pocket. That's really about all I would change. If I had been able to spend ten bucks a week, I could have had a real blast. A buck in 1950 was a lot more money than it is now.
