Fantasy Quest 1 - totally stuck

Ok, I am totally stuck and I have /no/ idea what to do.

My inventory is...
Sack
Carrot
Rope
Hook
Branch
Silver Key
Gold Key
Sword
Shovel
Scroll
Hammer
Nails
Bow
Arrow
Fishing Pole
Club
Ticket
Pas Ring
Sunstone

I know 4 passwords (but only know how to use 2) and got passed the castle-by-the-garden's drawbridge but can't get passed the guard nor do I know what to do with the hook, I've looked everywhere and I don't know what to do!

Please help! Flosch
