Considered by many to be Jerry Lewis' best film -- certainly his best directorial effort -- The Nutty Professor has Lewis discovering a chemical formula that transforms his nutty self into a suave, cool cat. Because of the dual identities, Lewis has the opportunity to do more than his usual slapstick antics -- and he does it all well.
