The Little Foxes (1941)

Reviews and Comments

Bette Davis is at her naughtiest in this adaptation of Lillian Hellman's play about a scheming Southern family. It's as good an illustration as any at how damaging the ruthless pursuit of riches can be. The film is strong throughout, but the ending is beautifully poetic.
