Scream 3 (2000)

Reviews and Comments

The concluding episode of Wes Craven's self-aware slasher series suffers by comparison to the first two uncharacteristically clever and genuinely scary episodes in the series. It's as funny as its predecessors (and contains perhaps the single funniest moment in the entire series, involving David Arquette's forehead) but isn't quite as smart or frightening. The only characters worth their salt are the series regulars; the rest are purely Ghostface fodder. Nonetheless, Scream 3 is above par for the genre.
