Laurel and Hardy: Them Thar Hills (1934)

Reviews and Comments

Laurel and Hardy journey through the woods with their trailer, encounter a small cottage, and decide to stop for a while. No one's at home, but they help themselves to the water in the well...which turns out to be liquor. Shortly thereafter, two stranded motorists, Charlie Hall and Mae Busch happen by. Hall goes out for gasoline, while Busch gets intoxicated; when Hall returns, he's got a score to settle. This short was followed by the only sequel Laurel and Hardy ever made, Laurel and Hardy: Tit For Tat, which continues the duel with Hall.
