Jason's at it again. This time he's after a psychic girl who can move objects without touching them. (She makes practical use of this power at the end, approaching the final showdown with Jason the way Darth Vader might.) Everything is either a retread of previous series entries or an amalgam of the most painful of movie cliches. Again, Jason kills people introduced for the sole purpose of getting killed, and no, it isn't scary this time either. The dialogue hurts. The logistics of the story don't make sense even on the movie's own terms. The single entertaining moment is a laugh at its own expense: at the end, there's an explosion so overblown in intensity, it defies description. Stranger still, Jason survives it.
