Oh boy. Every single cliche in the book. Cliches so big you can see them coming from the previews. Robin Williams plays another funny-yet-sensitive guy who thinks laughter can change the world. Possibly the most undertalented supporting cast -- no character stands out, apart from that mischievous prankster, Patch. Of course, the Dean hates him (wait, didn't this happen in Porky's?).

Apparently based on a true story, I got the impression that a documentary would have been a far better approach.

The worst scene is the praying scene, where a butterfly appears in the end (leading up to the third handkerchief in this three hanky weeper). The court scene is also pretty awful. The crowd bursts out in 'spontaneous' applause, after everything has been said (but well after the judgment, in Adam's favour, has been handed down).

Four turkeys.

Response From RinkWorks:

Though I'm in full agreement to your complaints, I kind of liked the movie anyway. I was well aware I was being shamelessly manipulated, but what the hey, it was fun, so why should I object? -- Sam.
