You can't love what you don't know. I was a long way from having put downs for *all* the movies. Maybe half. Some of them I'm very excited about. And if you knew me, you'd know that although I (like everyone, yourself included) formulate predictions ahead of time, I don't set opinions in stone before I've seen them.

I'm a philanthropist. I'm all about bringing down crueling work and striving towards a society based on kindness and charity. But I doubt I'm bringing anything down with a movie preview column. I dare say Adam Sandler and the Wayans Brothers will be making their millions this summer, regardless of anything I say.

Just so I'm clear on your position, you've never read a book you didn't like, right? Ordered a meal from a restaurant that disappointed you? Watched a football game you didn't like the outcome of? Disapproved of a plumbing job that still resulted in water flooding the bathroom?

Do you never vote in political elections because you've never served in office? Do you subscribe to or refrain from any particular religion despite not being God?

I'm just curious.
