Yeah, we do the "eh" thing too. So, maybe New Zealand was actually colonised from Canada, eh? Something along the lines of the great Irish explorer Patrick O'Loony who read about the Kon-Tiki expedition and decided to sail to Egypt on a raft made entirely of potatoes to prove the Irish had built the pyramids.
Unfortunately, the warm waters of the Mediterranean boiled the potatoes and the fish started to eat them. With only four potatoes left he lost his balance and had to swim for it, thus failing in his attempt. However, the Pope congratulated him on being a Catholic.
