Like, throughout the entire country. It's very common on most of the rural roads. The national sport here for many people is getting pissed and/or stoned out of their tiny brains and playing Death Race 2000 on the nation's highways. (And waterways too, I might add. Can't wait for the Christmas rush to start.)

We don't have "Fatality" signs on the road, but at a site where someone has bought the big one, their friends and relatives put up a little white wooden cross with the person's name on it. The more devoted visit the crosses regularly to hang flowers etc on them. And yes, some people have died when cars crashed into them while they were hanging around on the road sticking plastic flowers on their friend's cross.
Another issue I have with this is the number of people whose tribute to their drunken idiot friend, who possibly took out quite a number of innocent people with them, is to leave a touchingly decorated six-pack of beer in front of the cross.
