That reminds me of the days when people used to say, "You don't look like a teacher." And I would ask them what a teacher looks like.

But seriously, I worry about the Hispanic and partly Hispanic members of my extended family. Even the ones from South America are sometimes mistaken for Mexicans or even Middle Easterners. One of them has a large decal of an American flag on his car just so he won't be mistaken for a terrorist. He has been a citizen for some time now.
