That reminds me of a similar situation. I live in a buggy climate so I always have some insect repellent around. Several years ago, our beloved government decided that the active ingredient in insect repellent, might have a remote chance of making a tiny fraction of the population slightly sick. (I can't remember the details.)
Anyway the next time I bought a can of Off! the active ingredient had been cut in half and there across the front of the can was a yellow band with "New Formula!" in large letters. Yep. The price was up, meaning that now that I have to use more of it more often, it costs many times more than it used to. Howard
