Or how about the town where I live (it's a military base, That ought to tell you something...) where the speed limit is 15 in all residential areas, except (and I am not making this up,) in front of the elementary school, where they have a sign posted.."Speed limit 15 MPH when Flashing" Now wait a minute...hmmmm. I think they actually had to change the speed limit there to 25 so that the "Speed limit 15 MPH when Flashing" would make sense... That's the government for ya!

And speaking of silly government signs. "Slow to 5 MPH when passing troops in formation" Now, the Army thinks of just one guy jogging along all by his little bitty self as "Troops in formation" we even got nasty e-mails about it a while back cause people were going 15 MPH when passing one guy...

and don't even get me started on the "Slow Cows on Road" sign some well meaning citizen posted on the road out to the Base where I live...I know how slow they are! I hit one once!
