Help! Brackley Hall

Okay, I have acorns, a credit note, money, lavender, a silver key, birdseed, and a tourist brochure. Am I missing something? I found the sign on the gate about the pigs, and I have acorns, but it won't let me do anything over there. I have birdseed, but I can't do anything with the magpie. And I just keep walking around in circles in the maze. (okay, for the maze I know I need to try to draw a map, but too tired right now) Is there anything else I should do before trying to deal with this maze?
